It's 3am, I'm still awake.

I'm gonna spend the next few days working on my novel and hopefully getting the new gallery system for Stocky Jock set up.

*yawn* I hate being tired but yet unable to sleep.

88.1fm KVSC, Your Sound Alternative

I'm considering getting involved with 88.1 KVSC our campus radio station. The 2-6am block is dead for the summer. I'd love to fill in with a huge pile of 80s/90s stuff that's obscure...get The Whitlams some airplay. Whether or not I'd have that kind of freedom, who knows. Oh well. I'd be happy to do most anything at KVSC. I know they are using the EAS system now (WOOHOO!), so severe weather updates are auto-magic.

Other than that, Jay's cold. He's from Texas and well, our cool Minnesotan spring isn't workin for him. It's stayed around 40F/4C here tonight.

I'm heading to bed. It's been too warm for me to sleep. 8-\

Well, finals are over, I'm comfortably into summer housing which in spite of a fundamentalist bible-thumping roommate isn't all bad.
Then again, the killer view out our window is really nice. We look out through the trees and over the Mississippi River.

My ex Mike and I have been talking a lot more lately and it's been a good discussion. What will become of it? Who knows. I'm happier with our breakup now that I know the real reasons and that Mike's doing better in his life.

As for Sean, I think that's pretty much a dead issue. I think it'll be a casual friendship and that's about it.

I'm back in MSP for the weekend. I need some actual food and to do laundry. It's rather nice being back amongst people and civilization.

I've started making friends in Mitchell (Hall). Shaun is a fellow geek up on 3rd floor. He's a cute lil chubby 22 year old who is terminally straight, but gay accepting. (he takes flirts well *grin*).

EuHan is the RA of House 2 (1 part of the first floor of Mitchell, don't ask why they call them houses, I don't know). He's a really cool Chinese/Malay guy who I like to hang out with. He's gay and we just sit and talk, play cards, and shoot the shit.

It's really nice to have friends to just hang out with and be myself around.

I'll be blogging daily (or every other day) now that I'm back into a semi-normal routine with school being out and hall life settling down.

'm enjoying my midweek vacation. I've got little to do or think about and lots of time to just veg out.

Other than my back deciding to go out tonight, I'm doing well. We were out at dinner when my back decided it wanted to go out. I feel like I have someone pushing a huge fist into the left side of my low back but yet I have a warm, gritty pressure on the right side. I'm a lil worried about it but not worried enought to hit the ER.

I've starting to really fight with Stocky Jock and some of the nagging database presentation code that I need to fix. It's in the PHP code for displaying the data that I have the problems that needed to be fixed.

I was hoping to get together with Sean today, but that didn't work out.

I'm ready to pack up and move over to Mitchell Hall on Friday. *WOOHOO* No more Jason :)

Not much going on, I have all my laundry clean, I know who my roommate is for summer and where I'm living.

I'm sorta registered for classes. I'm in a bind if I want to take Math 112 as it's full, but 113 isn't.

*shrug* My math test determines my entire summer schedule.

It's annoying but if I can pull off 112/113, I'll be in Math 221 (Calc I) this fall along with Physics 231. That'll put me on a perfect course with most of the freshmen meteorology people I know.

*Phew*

My approximate final grade for CMST 192 is a "B-"
My final grade for HURL 102 is an 'A'
POL 195 is an 'F'

Hmmm....the HURL 102 and POL 195 grade even out at a 2.0 (not good enough), the B (3.0) in CMST 192 will help out...as will the "B" in ESCI 230.

ESCI 230 B (3 x 4) 12
CMST 192 B- (3x3) 9
POL 195 F (0x3) 0

33 grade points...

33/13 == 2.53 GPA for the term.

Damn...I'm cutting this way too close. I *have* to pull a B in ESCI 230. If I don't, I'm out of school.

CMST 192 consists of sitting through speeches tomorrow and next Friday (the final exam at 10:15am)

ESCI 230 is some formula crap tomorrow with the final at 10:15 Monday morning.

HURL 102 is *done* as is POL 195.

I'm ready to move to Mitchell and get far far away from Jay-thun.

WOOOHOOOO!!!!! I got my work study letter today. Academic Computing Services! That's where I wanted to be!

I actually tried to make small talk with Aaron after class today. It went ...well...not well. He seemed either annoyed that I'd spoken to him or that he just didn't want to talk to me.

Oh well. He's still a hottie.

The cold war between Jason and I is starting to get warmer. He's starting to really show his anger/displeasure/furstration. I'm wondering if he'll survive finals week. :)
