Sunday Update...

Work is work. Training is semi-drawn out, and involves tonnes of codes and memorization. It's not all that difficult, but the product matrix is a bitch. Thankfully we have job aids for that part of it.

In other news... I'm no longer an attached bear.

I'll not post the details of what's happened, mostly because *I* really don't know all that much of what's happened. All I know is that I'm numb and I feel like I've fallen off a cliff.

The new job...

I'm typing this as the shower warms up and I get stuff ready for work tomorrow.

I work 8a-4:30p M-Sat. Yes. *Six* days a week. At least Saturday is overtime :)

I'm hardly ever on anymore. Mike and I get home about 5:30 from work...chill until about 6...eat dinner...watch a little TV/surf the net/check e-mail...then about 9:30 or 10, it's bed time as 6am comes early. (I carpool with Mike, so I get to work at 7:20 and leave at 5:10).

I've not dropped off the planet, I'm just mostly out of touch.

More Sunday if I have any functional brain cells left.

"American" Airlines...

I'd be calling American and demanding a refund and a written apology.

What a crock that last sentence is "It falls along the lines of a personal level of sharing that may not be appropriate for one of our employees to do while on the job," he added.

I feel sickened.

KVSC Trivia is on the air...and the net

KVSC Trivia is on the air and streaming away happily...

Currently, we have 73 listeners to a 16/22 stream...with the ability to take up to 256 total listeners.

It's working smoothly so far...and there's 49h 27m left as of when I'm writing this...

For other information about KVSC's trivia, see this website.

Please let that poor netcast survive the weekend...I'm 6.5 hours away by car...and don't have dependable wheels to get there if it dies...

How embarrasing!

Bear with me...

What the FUCK?!

Yesterday, 3-5" of snow is forecast..no watches/warnings...

3pm yesterday, Winter Storm Watch issued...for 6+ inches of snow...

Winter Storm Warning follows around 2am this morning...for 5-7" of snow

and now at 2:42pm, it's just a Winter Weather Advisory for 3-5" of snow...

Shall we go for a Heavy Snow Warning? A Severe Stupidity Advisory for the Milwaukee National Weather Service office?
