T-Mobile update #3...
Well, it's now 11:20am. T-Mobile number change timer... Call plus
The original request at 3pm Sat wasn't processed right and was caught at 5:47pm Saturday due to my followup at the T-Mobile store.
My old number was deactivated with the 3pm Saturday call...so...3pm Saturday to 11:20am Monday. Oh boy... 44 hours and 15 minutes of no service.
The latest update from them is that all the changes are in the system, but due to the "backlog in the provisioning system" it should process through today. (key word...should)
I've picked up 125 bonus minutes which are basically plan minutes that don't expire and *do* rollover from month to month. They are nice lil things...but MY PHONE DOESN'T WORK! Now that I'm into day two of no service, they've knocked off $10 from my bill. It doesn't sound like much, but it is 1/4 of my monthly plan cost. 25% off a month for not having service for about 7.5% of the month, I'm not gonna say no.
I'm just hoping that I'll have a working phone soon.

Growl...
Well, I have my new cell number ... whenever T-Mobile can be bothered with getting it done.
9 hours on...and it's still a clusterfuck.
Timeline:
3.30pm - Call T-Mo...get new number..advised it can take up to 2 hours.
5.45pm - No phone. Stop into T-Mo store. Account info partially moved to the new number, but old number still active.
Call to Customer Care made by Asst Store Manager...45 minutes later with a new smart card in the phone...it should be
active within 2 hours.
8pm - Call T-Mobile again. "Why did they do a smart card change? That was completely unneccesary. That will delay your
new number." I'm now *really* happy with this.
11pm - Still no phone. Call T-Mo. Can take up to 24 hours. (growl)
11:15pm - Call again, guess what. T-Mo is having "issues" with new service activations and new SIM cards. The delays have
been averaging 14 hours. Yes kids. From the 6pm time of the actual new number request...it could be 24 hours
plus the 14 hour delay because of their network issues. So I could be without service until 8am Monday. Color me happy.
In other news...
I managed to get enough $$ to get car insurance and keep my phone working (ha!).
However, I know have $5.82 (literally) to feed my pie hole (yeah Ramen diet!!) and put gas in my van for the next who knows how long. I have a roof over my head and job leads, but I'm totally flat ass broke. It sucks having a full time job lined up but not having it start until mid-August.
Overall, I'm happy and life is going in the right direction (job, car, place to live,

What a way to start the morning....
This story ran just before 5pm CDT today (8am tomorrow in Sydney, NSW, Australia) and I was reading some tech docs...and didn't pay much attention to the first sentence...the second was "itchy bums" which I heard as itchy burns...
So far so good...then the rest of the story hit.

Well, it's another Vitamin Z video on VH1 Classic...and as I was on vacation in Minnesota this weekend...I missed it. *cries*

Job interviews...home life...other news
I had a job interview with Spherion today for a position. The interview went rather well and I have a 2nd interview on Monday at 2pm.
*woot!* Seems like a laid back, semi-stressful place. Perfect fit for me. I like stress/challenges, but it's also fairly laid back it seems.
Sean and I are getting along fairly well. We're having our growing pains as we adjust to being with each other and all that goes along with living together.
I'm working on my novel again, I have some other leads for contract/part-time work and my creativity/motivation is starting to return, as I'm actually actively working on Stocky Jock again.
Overall, it's a very good day and life is good.

Comcast Update...
It's Comcast...
They blew something up here...as the Mount Prospect and Schaumburg "service
areas" (good thing I know a lil bit about this area) are having
intermittent outages and it's being worked on.
Mind you, I could never reach a human being in the *six* times I called in
to verify that our location is in one of those two services areas.
I love the transfer to nowhere...
*growl*

Comcast blows goats...
I'm not sure what the &*%@ is up with Comcast..but our cable modem has gotten to the point of liking to pop offline and reset...which takes 5-10 minutes per reset...not a problem...unless it's happening several times a day! We're on our fourth reboot since I jumped online at around 11am.
If I had authorization on the account, I'd be calling them to find out what the f*ck is going on... In the meantime...I'll sit here and do a lot of nothing as I keep getting knocked off the net while trying to find a job and working on a website that would actually pay me money.

Okay...as I suspected the Russian sauage and the "This is interesting"
things were suspicious...and could compromise your LJ username/password.
I gacked all my cookies, changed my password and I think I'll stick to
e-mail + PGP signing posts for a while...
In other news...Sean and I have had several talks about the
current situation and all is okay.
I'm still bummed out and frustrated with life, but is a week enough time to
move, settle in, and find a job? No. Not even close to being realistic.
But who said I was realistic?
Enough for now...Sean and I are off to go explore the Moraine Hills State

Long time with no updates...
It's gonna be a long time before the next update. I'll be off-line for the most part for quite a while.
I'm broke, no solid job leads are pulling through, and I can't afford to relocate to anywhere right now. I'm throwing in the towel. I can't deal with this right now. The tags on my van expire today (10 day grace period) so after midnight, I don't have a legal vehicle. My car insurance expires on 18 June..add that to the list of shit happening that I can't deal with.
I'm trying to make things better for myself and trying to be a productive member of society, but it's just not happening. For those of you on the astral wavelengths, I'll be off-line there as well. It's better that way. Truly it is.
The Stocky Jock and Kenosha Garou websites will continue as normal, though I'm not sure how motivated or driven I'll be to update Stocky Jock. Kenosha Garou I'll be maintaining and I'll be looking to see if there are others who are willing to step up and take it over if I do return to Minnesota.
E-mail me or call my cell. Though, my cell bill is due today, so I don't know how much longer I'll have that. I won't be on instant messenger or chat sites. I may re-appear at some point, but who knows, the appeal of being a luddite is calling loudly.

Great...I'm having major reservations about moving to Wheeling with mooch />
I don't have much other choice as I have to be out of New Berlin by Sunday.
quietdanmn has offered me space at his place...but that would be extremely awkward and difficult.
white27shark has done the same...but since he's currently living at home..I'm not quite sure how that would work.
buddachewie worked on some great job leads for me...only to have his work screwed up by a royal bitch at where I needed to apply.
All I want to do is move back to St. Cloud, find a nice job, bust my ass and make a living while working on getting my occult bookstore idea put together so I can do that and work for myself doing something that I really want to do. Larry, Owen, Jeff (who isn't on LJ that I know of) and John (also not on LJ that I know of) are all fellow pagans who are more than willing to help me get the store going and work for/in it.
Why do I feel like I'm on the verge of making a huge mistake in moving to Wheeling? It's nothing against mooch, far from it. Minnesota is home. I don't know when I became a Minnesotan, but I did. The Twin Cities/St. Cloud area is where I'm supposed to be...but I can't do it. I have a horrid sense of foreboding about this move, but I'm not in a situation to alter it.
I'm gonna have to do what I do best again...place my life into the hands of the God and Goddess and see what happens...
