T-Mobile update #3...

Well, it's now 11:20am. T-Mobile number change timer... Call plus
The original request at 3pm Sat wasn't processed right and was caught at 5:47pm Saturday due to my followup at the T-Mobile store.
My old number was deactivated with the 3pm Saturday call...so...3pm Saturday to 11:20am Monday. Oh boy... 44 hours and 15 minutes of no service.

The latest update from them is that all the changes are in the system, but due to the "backlog in the provisioning system" it should process through today. (key word...should)

I've picked up 125 bonus minutes which are basically plan minutes that don't expire and *do* rollover from month to month. They are nice lil things...but MY PHONE DOESN'T WORK! Now that I'm into day two of no service, they've knocked off $10 from my bill. It doesn't sound like much, but it is 1/4 of my monthly plan cost. 25% off a month for not having service for about 7.5% of the month, I'm not gonna say no.

I'm just hoping that I'll have a working phone soon.

have you looked into temp agencies for jobs until the august thing starts? there is a manpower branch nearby ohare that was real good to me.

I have, but I'm doing remote system administration and some paid web work in the short term...so that's bringing in some cash until then...
