Sex...and why are gay men so stuck on it?

Why does it seem like all gay men are stuck on sex?

Dating seems to have become as taboo as monogamy any more.

I just want to find a nice decent guy and settle down. Is that too much to ask?

I want my brain stimulated before my groin. I'll take a night cuddled up on the couch over a quick trick.

I'm content with my life but I'd like to find the Mr. Right to share it with.

I really like LiveJournal

I got KLuJe working properl. I liked LogJam, but it is a GNOME program. KLuJe is nicely docked in my system tray and available on a moments notice without me having to have it constantly taking up space in my application bar.

Not a great celebration but hey, it's a small happiness in life.

You gotta take 'em where you find them.

Such lofty dreams...

The loft is built and we've adjusted to it well. I've not crawled up there, so I figure I'll have a fairly sleepless night.

I'm hoping the forecast is wrong. The forecast for tonight after midnight is for storms possibly with heavy rain (like we need more) and that continues all day tomorrow which is the big move in day for SCSU residence halls! I'm quite happy to be settled in to my room already :)

Otherwise, I'm working the Hall Council table tomorrow handing out popcorn and answering questions about hall council (our hall's governmental body) and also about the hall, it's features and where things are.

It should be a fun day and I'll get a chance to meet a lot of new people as well as further my campaign to be elected Hall Council President *smiles innocently*

Oh the fun we'll have...

My roommate and I are getting a bunk loft from my dad (one of my birthday presents) and so I need to finish cleaning my side of our room and getting the stuff current stuffed under my bed put someplace so we can assemple this loft and all that good stuff.

Other than that, I'm hungry, have a headache, and still down after last night.

C'est la vie. It's a beautiful day and I'm alive.

Grrrrr

I'm not amused. I spent most of my evening sitting on my arse doing nothing waiting for friends to show up and they didn't.

What a lousy way to spend the night of your 30th birthday.

I'm off to bed to get some sleep.

Woohoo!

I finally did it! I got the KDE LiveJournal client to work. Now to see if I can find a way to upload all my old Blogger stuff into Live Journal...

First Post

Just a test post

Karma?

I stayed up all night. I had to work on some stuff for the role playing game I'm involved with and then wound up talking to Joe for a while. Roommate things shouldn't be bad for the fall.

I had a "play date" today. A hot cub from Wisconsin was driving over to have some fun and do a photo shoot for Stocky Jock. A lil fun was had and a few photos were taken. About two hours after he got here, he realized that he had made a huge mistake breaking up with his ex a few days ago.

He's now driving back to Wisconsin, he left here nearly crying. I feel like a complete and total heel. It's not my fault, rather I was just the catalyst for him to realize that he'd truly made a mistake that he regretted.

When he looked at me and said "I still love [him]" I nearly threw up as I realized just how much inner torment he was going through and my own complicity in the situation.

I still feel dirty. I know it's not my fault, but I still feel like the evil harlot.

Here come the animals...two by two

I'm sick of rain. I'm ready for a drought!

Another two inches (give or take) of rain has fallen on St. Cloud. This brings us up to about five inches already for the month of August...added to the seven inches in July...on top of the 5 inches in June...

Too many mosquitos! At least it's been rather cool and not that terribly humid of late. Sunday morning it was *43* and it was *47* on Monday morning. It was *so* nice to sleep with the windows open on Monday morning.

In other news, I'm all registered for fall classes and all the necessary paperwork is in. I move Friday between 12p and 4p. I'm still rooming with the same person I've been scheduled to room with, so this should prove mighty interesting.

I'm finally working on my novel again. That's the good news of my non-school/KVSC life.

I s'pose I should go to bed. Damn KVSC and the late hours!

Coding sucks...

Well, I'm gonna pound out a new version of the Sherburne Hall website today/tomorrow. I have to get my financial aid paperwork in by today (Tuesday) and I have to get in touch with a couple of people about the amateur radio club on campus.

Should be a busy day...

Yes, I'm alive

After a killer class (COMM 276), I'm finally done with summer school for this year.

I've got a single room until Friday afternoon when I move back over to Sherburne Hall and "normal" housing.

I'm going to be updating and somewhat overhauling my personal website here in a few days. I accidently deleted all the work I had done on the Sherburne Hall website. That's my big project since the hall opens on the 31st of August.
