Has it been one hell of a day... the FFIHL sit...

Has it been one hell of a day...

the FFIHL site got nothing done on it today. I did get the scoring and draft rules out to the GMs of the teams, so it wasn't a completely wasted day.

As for Mikey, well, that's been a rough one...

After a three hour war on Yahoo this morning, he had to go to the doctor and I went to bed. Nothing good had come of the

morning's events and I was in a foul mood. I don't appreciate being told that I like setting myself up for failure because I like being the victim and other stuff. I have the logs of our conversation and it's not a pretty picture.

I woke up about 3PM, still not feeling at all right. I took my antibiotics, the allergy stuff, and yet more anti-runny-poop
stuff and went back to bed.

I got up at like 7.30pm and felt like death. I got up and checked my spam...er...email and started my "day" as it would
be. I got my draft scouting list done, so my team in the FFIHL is ready for the draft on Saturday afternoon.

I got the new Linux kernel and recompiled it. It seems to have fixed the gawdawful virtual memory problems I've been
having with applications seemingly euthanized.

I talked to Dave some. He's such a cute lil cub. Right now, I'd like to get to know him better. This soon after Mike, and
I'm asking for a rebound slap in the face.

Ooops. That let the cat outta the bag didn't it? Yeah, Mike and I are split. I've changed in ways he couldn't put a finger
on from when we met way back when and he got to know me until know. It wasn't the reason or outcome I'd expected. I was expecting either a huge blow up and a FUCK YOU! or we'd quietly patch things up and move on with our lives. Oddly, we parted ways and are going to be friends. We may try dating and a relationship in the future, but not right now.

Tonight shouldn't be an all nighter, my body is totally batting this sinus infection with the antibiotics help and I'm just
wiped out. I think the extent of my fun is going to be moving the Linux system over to the Athlon 600 and the Win2k machine back to the Athlon 900.

I'm a huge Linux fan, but all I'm doing with it now is e-mail management as Outlook is a horrid program. Why can't
someone port Evolution or KMail (or better yet, KDE) to Win32?

*sniffs the air* mmmmm...wood smoke. Someone's fired up their wood burner it seems. It's supposed to be down to 25-
27 here in the "inner burbs". I'm hoping for a good hard freeze. It'll knock the pollen and mold down. That and I'm ready for the leaves to change and the annual colour show that we get from it.

*Yawn* tomorrow, I'll clean up my room, the draft scouting list so it's on draft order, not alphabetical order, and get the
actual FFIHL site done as best I can. We're still wordless on the Ontario Rodents and an new expansion team. I've sent an email to the manager of the Orillia Vipers team as he's the brother of the Ontario manager and knew the expansion team's manager.

Hopefully, I'll have all the information before Wednesday for both teams and can get the site done and Greg can get the
draft and schedule done.

It's just after 1am. I'm heading to bed after a bite to eat.

Good night all....
