I was digging around the Triple J site looking for a good list of Aussie bands...when I discover that Peter Garret, the lead singer of Midnight Oil left the band on 2 December 2002.
I *knew* I shouldn't have missed the concert last year, especially when the Blues got their asses spanked. I should have ditched the Blues game in St. Paul and went to the Quest in Minneapolis and seen the Oils. I didn't however and like Hunters and Collectors and INXS before them....another huge Aussie band I love has disbanded before I could see them in concert.
I'll *truly* be pissed to hell and back if the Whitlams disband before I see them.
