He's got a kidney stone that's working it's way through...but he's also developed an infection along with it. They don't know if it is in the kidney(s)/bladder/urinary tract or where, but it's enough that they've admitted him.
He's in "holding" for a room right now. He'll be in a room later this morning.
I'll be away from the computer quite a bit as I'll be spending much of my time at the hospital with him.

sorry to hear that. I have had 4 kidney stones all requiring surgery. Two by lithotripsy and two by actual removal of the stone. OUCH. Hope all goes well
