Listen, I know some people may not like Canadian music. For decades the only person at the Juno awards was Anne Murray. How many times can a person to the "Snowbird" song before they want to throw up.
At least Canadians are putting something original on the scene.
May I recommend a review of South Park the Movie...for the Anne Murray reference.
Actually, I *like* Corey Hart...Bryan Adams was okay..and I'll keep Rush around for a few more years than you much...and may the Tragically Hip keep doing what REM tried and failed to do...sound authentic without devolving into self-absorbed whines and moans.
Kudos as well to Alanis Morrisette for her "stripping" at the Juno's last night and her pointed comments about the American media...they were dead on.
Ever have one of those moments where the actions of those around you are so completely incomprehendible that you feel as though you were visiting from another planet?
All of the excitement about said video/performer that currently exists is one of those things that makes me feel just like that.
