Well, after tomorrow I don't have car insurance and I'm not sure how much longer I'll have a cell phone. I can't afford to pay either one right now.
If you need to get ahold of me, e-mail is the way to go.
There are a couple of leads on the job horizon...but it involves another move. Rah.
Do I move back to Minnesota or do I move to Illinois...or do I move to Arkansas?
St. Cloud has a couple of nailable jobs. I could open my occult bookstore/supply store there as there is nothing like it there.
Illinois, I could live with Sean (rushing things) and could find something down there.
Arkansas, there is a solid major job lead at a local Baptist college near my mom. Nice job, I could get my BA degree for almost free...but *bleh* it's hell....err Arkansas.

Espcally if you combine it with Larry's Coffe shop idea... as I've seen that not much is really open for coffee past 11pm.
And as for Chicago... well, I point out what happened when you moved primarily for love... admirable, but not the most prone thing to finacial security. At least in St. Cloud/Twin Cities you have a strong base of friends to back you up who don't have motives much beyond helping you out. Perhaps talking with Larry might not be a bad thing for such things. But you know where to find me if you want my 3 cents in the cosmic sense.
Do what's best for you... Things will work out with everything else.
Love ya.
Being my practical Canadian self, I can't help but wonder if getting your BA first might help the job search. A BA won't give you a career but it will give you a foot in the door.
It's time to grow up and face some responsibilities. While it's all well and good to want to get a job and whatnot, get an education first. Meh, so you don't like Arkansas... Transfer credits are a wonderful thing! You wouldn't have to spend the rest of your life there. Spend a couple years with your mum, finish school and THEN get a job. It will be so much easier.
After reading the other comments, I thought I'd add my input...
All of them sound like they have positive/negative aspects to them, so I don't know that there is a clear easy choice.
There is a definite plus, if you can get a degree for very low cost - wherever it is located. A Baptist college, eh? I think that may be the more troubling part than Arkansas. Do you *really* wanna work/school with a group of people who aren't very accepting of who you are & what you believe?
Illinois with Sean may be cool, but if that goes sour for some reason, then you're back in the same boat you're in now. I'm not saying it would, but why chance it? If something more is going to develop there, it has to have time to grow. A rose picked before its bloom never reveals its true beauty.
St. Cloud is the closest thing to home (of late) I think for you, so there is comfort there. You'd be among friends. The bookstore, etc., sounds potentially like a cool idea. And it may work, or it won't. You may not get rich, or not. Would it make you happy? (And it's closer to Chicago than Arkansas is...)
You seem to be at a crossroads in life. Each direction of your choice has some sort of temptation that lies down that path.
Only you can make the choice of the next path of your life.
If I had to take a stab at any of those choices, I'd actually say Arkansas. It looks like it offers you the greatest potential right now.
