WOW!
We just had the best 30 minutes of thunderstorms that I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing in a very long time.
Nothing severe, a period of about 20 minutes of torrential rain and a light show that couldn’t be beat.
There was so much lightning, you could actually smell the ozone in the air! (Yes, the lightning was striking all around.)
One of the better ground strikes happened about a half mile to a mile north of here. I saw the ground strike which was a lime green color...then a sudden *flash* of electric blue. The funny part of it was that all the apartment buildings north of us lost power while ours didn’t even blink.
Overall though, I definately feel more energized and more in touch with Them. I got what I wanted in so many ways I didn’t expect in that storm!

You're so lucky, the storm itself missed st cloud. We had a bunch of rain for about half an hour but I only saw one or two lighting strikes. All the good storms miss us. You're right though, nothing beats sitting and watching an amazing light show and smelling the air!
You're lucky. Oregon gets crap for lightning storms, at least in the valley. Although we do get the pleasure that whenever Corvallis DOES get a lightning strike, it's normally on our power grid, for whatever goddamned reason, and we end up being without power for 1/2 the night while they replace transformers once it's safe to work (which is like, 5 minutes... I mean, this IS Oregon.)
You're lucky.
