Oops...

Hi everyone.

I got an email today from someone asking if I was still alive and doing okay.

Yes, I am. The last two weeks have flown by with work and starting a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. I had forgotten just how much fun (and how much of a challenge) being a DM can be.

I think the campaign is going okay. There are some definite rough spots in the campaign, but that's a given when two of the four players are complete newbies and I've not DM'd in years.

I think the campaign is starting to come together. The two newbies are getting the hang of the game and the campaign is starting to move along. We'll find out tomorrow night when we have our next campaign. The regional mapping is done and I have the plot out for quite a while.

Otherwise, I've recovered well from the gastroenteritis. It seems to have helped some of the issues I was having with my metformin dosage. We're adjusting another of my diabetes medications upward slightly. It's a temporary doage increase as I start seriously working on my diet (portion control) and starting some mild exercise.

Well, it's time to head off to work.
